Number of Times Recycled and Its Effect on the Recyclability, Fluidity and Tensile Properties of Polypropylene Injection Molded Parts

The ease with which modern plastics can be injection molded makes them very suitable for the production of many different products and, today, are often used as substitutes metal. Polypropylene (PP) is one most widely thermoplastics globally since it useful, cost-effective and flexible molding. However, amount harm to environment caused by plastic waste has become phenomenal recycling a serious aspect environmental protection. PP, commonly material, was selected use in this study. It melt flow index 15 g/min its recyclability, fluidity, physical properties, well manufacturing conditions, were explored relation number times material could recycled (TR). A cavity pressure sensor measure viscosity after multiple cycles plasticizing injection, part molding, scrap-recycling, crushing. paperclip-shaped test specimen determine PP fluidity crystallinity specimens TRs. Tensile tests detect differences tensile strength between made from Raw-PP PP. results showed that had been several higher index, melting peak area, crystallinity, crystallization rate, temperature. Repeated reduced length molecular chains broadened weight distribution. This improved increased crystallinity. increase filling easier, reducing index. study improve properties degree also went some way further benefits circular economy. injection-molded added renewable energy technologies impact assessment.
